Volunteer Assistance Program One of our projects is The Save-A-Life GUIDE, a comprehensive listing of (currently) between two and three hundred local rescue organizations and individuals in the north Texas area. Many of these hard working individuals do not own computer PCs. It is part of the Ahimsa Mission Statement to offer assistance to these dedicated volunteers by supplying PCs donated by organizations or individuals who are upgrading their systems and would like to donate their old equipment to a very deserving cause. Ahimsa will provide a receipt for donated equipment which may be used for tax-deductible purposes and includes the name and address of the individual volunteer and/or organization receiving the donated equipment.
