Tips for Dog Owners
  1. Spay/neuter to prevent unwanted litters

  2. Application of flea/tick powder or spay when needed

  3. Regular grooming, such as bathing and brushing

  4. Obedience training

  5. Examine the dog's collar often to make sure it is not too tight on the neck

  6. Microchip or tattoo your dog

  7. Write your phone number on the collar in case the tags get lost

  8. Keep a current photo of your pet in case it gets lost

  9. DO NOT leave your dog in a vehicle on warm days. The heat inside a car could kill your dog. Do not let your dog ride in the back of an open truck. He could very easily be thrown out and killed.
